Refunds

ROSE BOWL AQUATICS CENTER REFUND POLICY

The RBAC typically has a no refund policy. Under special circumstances, the RBAC may approve
a refund or issue a credit on account to a patron. There is a 15% processing fee that applies for
refunds.


ROSE BOWL AQUATICS CENTER REFUND PROCEDURES


1. Any patron requesting a refund must fill out the “Refund Request Form” available on
the RBAC website.

2. Please note that submission of this form does not automatically guarantee a refund;
all requests are reviewed by RBAC staff prior to approval.

3. All refund requests need to be submitted online and must be submitted within 30
days from the date of original purchase to be eligible for a refund. Refund

4. Typical events that may qualify for a refund, less a 15% processing fee, include, but
are not limited to the following:
a. When a patron indicates that they are moving a minimum of 35 miles away or
out of state and provides proof of a new address (utility bill in their name).
b. Patron forgets to stop Autopay.

5. Typical events that do not qualify for a refund include, but are not limited to the
following:
a. When access to RBAC programs or services is suspended or removed due to
inappropriate behavior or failure to follow RBAC guidelines.
b. When the RBAC experiences a closure due to maintenance/mechanical issues,
City of Pasadena or Rose Bowl Stadium events, weather, natural disasters, or
civic unrest. In certain cases, a credit to account may be provided. All credits on
account need to be used by the end of the calendar year that it was issued.

6. Typical events that qualify for a full refund include, but are not limited to following:
a. Patrons cannot participate due to medical reasons. Note from the doctor is
required.
b. When the RBAC makes an administrative billing or enrollment error.

7. An RBAC staff will review and follow up with the program manager for which the
refund is being requested to gather all relevant information.

8. Refund application processing time is 10 business days. At this time, you will be
notified via email on the decision or next steps.

9. Patrons can follow up on the status of their refund or any follow up questions
regarding refunds by emailing the RBAC at refunds@rosebowlaquatics.org
