Credit on Account

ROSE BOWL AQUATICS CENTER CREDIT ON ACCOUNT PROCEDURES


1. Programs with “lessons” only qualify for a Credit on Account. These include swim,
dive and splashball.

2. Any patron requesting a Credit On Account must submit a written email request to
the program manager. Credit on Account will be the full amount paid.

3. Please note that submission of request does not automatically guarantee approval.

4. Typical events that qualify for a credit on account include, but are not limited to the
following:

a. When there is a contamination in the pool that prevents the program to be held
in the pool. This credit will be automatically applied by the RBAC staff. No email
from the patron is required.

b. When the RBAC cannot provide an instructor for a scheduled program.

c. When the RBAC experiences a closure due to maintenance/mechanical issues.

d. Patron cannot participate due to medical reasons. Note from the doctor is
required.

e. Patron notifies RBAC employee of no participation or cancellation, via email,
prior to the program start date.

5. Typical events that do not qualify for a credit to account include, but are not limited
to the following:

a. When access of the patron to RBAC programs or services is suspended or
removed due to inappropriate behavior or failure to follow RBAC guidelines.

b. When the RBAC experiences a closure due to City of Pasadena or Rose Bowl
Stadium events, weather, natural disasters, or civic unrest.

c. All programs listed as “passes” with the RBAC do not qualify for a credit on
account. Such as, but not limited to lap swim, IU and competitive teams.

6. Credit on Account processing time is 10 business days. At this time, you will be
notified via email on the decision or next steps.
